Japanese Boutique Bakery and Cafe @ Yakitate

The Yakitate! Cafe Side.
Opposite side seatings. Restaurant Side.

Finally we found a truly hidden japanese cafe and bakery gem in Dubai. Having beautiful and comfortable setting. Serving variety delicious Japanese Bakeries and interesting light dishes such as the ramen burgers, sushi burgers and etc with delicious fillings of chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken and so on. As a plus, many selection of interesting and delicious drinks.

Honey Avocado  (AED18) and Japanese souffle cheesecake (AED12)
Signature Ice Cube - Matcha! (AED20)

It was a hot day in Dubai, well it is summer and in a desert. Being in Yakitate definitely really provided us some comfort. We ordered from refreshing thirst quenching drinks such as the honey avocado, mixing pure honey, fresh avocado, fresh milk and blended with ice. And their signature ice cube latte, the Matcha, having matcha ice cubes with matcha tea, condensed milk and fresh milk to mix with. Snacking one of my favourites in Yakitate which is the japanese souffle cheesecake, really delicious.

Having a great lunch break now. With our cold drinks served to our tables. Big smiles.

Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen Burger (AED29)

We shared the chicken katsu curry ramen burger. Nicely made japanese rice burger with deep friend chicken cutlet with panko coated along with mild spicy japanese curry. It also comes with one side dish with a choice of edamame, frenchfries and steam vegetables. Definitely unique and crafty, also quite delicious.

That's a cute cheesecake. Don't think I've tried their rice burger before, or maybe I did...at Sushi King, the franchise place, once. No lasting impression.
