Irvine's Diary - I'm Home!

It has been a few days since I came back to Malaysia. Without a doubt, the feeling to be back was definitely a culture shock. I guess we all that came through this situation will eventually accept what we ought to accept. Give me a few days or maybe a week or so. However, I do believe I am getting use to the life back in Malaysia. Being flashed and horned by another car while waiting for a parking space. Getting tail gated when I was already driving over speed limit. Lining up and seeing people walking right in front of you towards the counter. However, I love the Malaysia now compared to two years ago. There seems to be a lot of improvement or my eyes are not wide open enough?

Today was another typical Malaysian day. Sleeping after three in the morning and waking up late in the afternoon. Having ‘fish head soup noodle’ bought by mom, reading yesterday newspaper and skpe’ing with AudreyLuv. I can’t believe I am spending these few days surveying about Malaysia information. I have been looking into government offices, mobile services, locations and etc. This proves how much I was spoon-fed all these years. At least I am still ‘Malaysia Boleh/Satu Malaysia’. I do make sure I am buying Malaysian Products by doing some research. Say yes to PETRONAS, no to SHELL! LOL. Ok. Back to the essentials. Checking out my resume, covering letter, interview files and so on. Been doing this and that till dinner and after. Multi-tasking.

At the end of the day, not even a single job application was sent out...
