Cosmos Tour - Brussels, The Beginning

Finally, the day have come where we board the Cosmos Bus! Cosmos is a very good travel company for family! Anxiously waiting for months and now finally having the honor to travel around Europe. 8 Days family tour! Me, Bro, Bro Gf, Sis, Mom and Dad. LOL. This will be our last whole family vacation for quite some time. Everyone will be busy with their personal life after this!

Welcome people!

Boarding the cruise from Dover Port, UK for a channel crossing to Belgium, Europe.

Cute bird walking around the cruise! he-he.

Welcome to the city of brussels! Capital and also the largest urban area of Belgium. For your information most people here actually speaks french not dutch!

Nice facade... fine architectures...

Some building...

We are in the Brussels Square!

Along the street...

There seems to be a lot of kebab shop around. If i am right kebab has been native to the greeks since ancient times. So they are basically the founder? lol. I bet my grand grand grand x 1000 mother/father have cut meat into slices many times. Probably China started it first!

Oh yeah! French fries are actually originated from Belgium. The people here love frying potatoes, so do us. Long ago when the Americans first came to Belgium, they have learned about these method of eating potatoes. The Americans named these strips of potato 'french' fries, which was basically because the people here are mainly french-speaking. Confused with the country culture they have named the potato strips as french fries based on the majority. It was definitely supposed to be 'belgium fries' indeed!

Botak man walking around the square....

Botak man along the streets...

Here you go! The one and only Urine Boy! Lol. Remember that little one? The kid with the posture of a person urinating. That's him for sure! I was totally bemused when i first saw it. I never expect it to be that small. ha-ha. I can hardly see it!

There seems to be many tales about this kid. I only remembered one. It was about a little boy gotten lost and was no where to be found. Derelict. Surprisingly his parents found him after quite sometime and right at that moment he was found he was urinating! lol. Ingenuous kid.

Happy and joyful of their son appearance. They made a statue!

Souvenir Shop

One of the must try in Brussels will be the... Waffle!

Astonishing Waffles! Totally ingenious way of making and it is really delicious! Quite costly though... around 4 - 6 euros.

Piece of art along the streets...

Up Next! The Rhine Cruise!
